Arrive in Tambolaka
Pickup at Tambolaka Airport, a grilled-fish lunch by the coast, then check-in and a first sunset at Kita Mananga Aba Beach.

Weekuri Lagoon & Mandorak
Swim in the crystal-clear saltwater Weekuri Lagoon, then on to Mandorak Beach flanked by limestone cliffs. Afternoon: a Sandalwood horse display.

Ratenggaro Traditional Village
Visit the megalithic village of Ratenggaro with its 15-meter-high tower houses. Learn Marapu philosophy directly from the village elders and share lunch with a local family.

Crossing to East Sumba
Cross-island drive to Waingapu through rolling savanna. Late afternoon: the iconic Walakiri Beach sunset with its 'dancing' mangrove trees.

Wairinding Hill & Tanggedu Falls
Morning at Wairinding Hill — an ocean of rolling savanna. Then a trek to Tanggedu Falls, the 'Grand Canyon of Sumba'.

Praijing Weaving Village
Immersion day: live with Sumbanese ikat weavers, try dyeing yarn with natural pigments, and weave your own motif as a keepsake.

Departure
A slow breakfast, a Sumba coffee shopping run, then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
